Save the Children is seeking a Manager of Facilities and Transportation to ensure safe, compliant Head Start facilities and vehicles. You will oversee licensing, leases, maintenance, and safety, while leading a team and coordinating with contractors and the Fiscal team.

Responsibilities include managing testing, security systems, inventory, and provider contracts, ensuring ADA/OSHA compliance and driver licensing, with a strong emphasis on safeguarding children and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of building maintenance, facilities management, or transportation systems.
• Supervisory experience and ability to lead a team.
• CPR and First Aid certification to be obtained after hire.

Responsabilités

• Oversee testing for lead, asbestos, mold, and air quality.
• Develop, implement and evaluate facility and transportation delivery systems.
• Maintain fire and security alarm systems in good working order.
• Conduct regular health and safety inspections of sites and play areas.
• Manage building security, maintenance schedules, and vendor contracts.
• Coordinate with Fiscal Coordinator on centralized purchasing and inventory.
• Maintain an organized warehouse and accurate inventory across sites.
• Ensure ADA, OSHA compliance and regulatory licensing across facilities.
