Job summary

Tri-County Community Action Agency is hiring a Full Time Head Start Teacher Supervisor for Villas, NJ. The role oversees a preschool classroom to meet Head Start performance standards and NJ/PA licensing requirements.

You will plan activities, provide infant-toddler routines, document growth, ensure needs of children are met, and engage families through conferences and home visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have Infant-Toddler CDA OR be enrolled in Infant-Toddler CDA program.
• AA and BA in related field are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for preschool children.
• Provide infant-toddler caregiving routines in a primary caregiving setting.
• Observe, assess, and document each child's growth and development.
• Ensure services for children with special needs are implemented.
• Ensure safety by following procedures and reporting incidents.
• Prepare and maintain classroom records and monthly reports.
• Plan parent involvement activities and conduct parent/teacher conferences.
• Assist in Head Start tasks and staff training as requested by leadership.
