The CAP Agency of Scott, Carver, and Dakota counties is seeking a Teacher Assistant in Farmington, MN. You will support the Head Start Teacher in implementing classroom activities and meals, and work with children and families to deliver services.

We offer benefits, professional development, and a non-profit environment. A CDA or higher credential is required or equivalent education; data entry and Microsoft Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a CDA or higher credential or an associate degree in any field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry experience.
• Current Infant/Child First Aid and CPR certificate preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan daily activities with the Teacher and implement them.
• Assist with meals and supervise family-style meals.
• Conduct child assessments using Creative Curriculum; support center operations.
• Communicate with families and staff to ensure services.
• Maintain a safe, clean indoor/outdoor environment.
