Qualifications

• ServSafe certification required within three months of hire
• Minimum one year of safe food handling experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow recipes

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious daily meals for children and staff in accordance with USDA, state and Head Start regulations
• Order food from approved vendors and conduct inventory
• Ensure food safety and kitchen sanitation
• Perform data entry and complete required documentation
