Job summary

United Community Action Partnership, Inc. seeks a Head Start Classroom Support in Marshall, MN to assist the Head Start Teacher and help create an engaging, safe learning space for children.

You will support food prep, recordkeeping, and health/nutrition activities while promoting the program and assisting with enrollment efforts. This is a full-time, 12-month union position with a focus on teamwork and child development.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a HS diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Start Teacher in classroom and act as backup when needed.
• Help with food prep, recordkeeping, and health/nutrition activities.
• Support recruitment/enrollment and promote the program.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and assist with light janitorial tasks.
