Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking an ECP Program Aide to contribute to a safe, supportive learning environment for preschool children. You will collaborate with teaching staff to implement plans, promote child development, and support family involvement across Head Start sites.

Responsibilities include ensuring child safety, assisting with meals, and participating in health checks while maintaining confidentiality and teamwork with families and partners.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or GED.
• CDA credential appropriate for the age group or higher degree preferred.
• AA Degree in Early Childhood Education or related degree (Program Aide 3) and higher are valued.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (Program Aide 4) encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with families, program staff and community partners.
• Assist in implementing lesson plans to meet each child’s needs and goals.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of children at all times.
• Assist in meal preparation and supervise meals.
• Support children with health screenings and activities as directed.
