Job summary

Ulster County Community Action Committee is seeking a part-time Teacher Aide (Center Aide for classroom support) in Kingston, NY. You will assist the lead teacher, help with routines, and support children's learning in a caring environment.

You will work onsite Monday through Friday, help with setup, transitions, and clean up, and keep the room organized for instruction. Hourly pay ranges from $16.00 to $16.25.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with children in a patient, supportive way.
• Willingness to assist teacher direction and follow classroom procedures.
• Comfortable with basic cleaning and tidying of the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with daily classroom activities and routines
• Work with children in small groups or one‑on‑one as directed
