Job summary

Interlakes Community Action Partnership in Watertown, SD is seeking a Classroom Aide to help the teacher keep learning moving and every child supported in a safe, welcoming environment.

You will assist with small groups, support safety and well‑being, and help maintain orderly spaces. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience with children; Summers off and a 30‑hour work week across 39 weeks per year are offered.

• One (1) year of experience and/or training working with children (preschool or infant/toddler experience preferred)

• Encourage healthy physical, social, and emotional growth by honoring individual differences, diversity, and cultural backgrounds
• Tidy and sanitize the classroom, learning areas, toys, and equipment; clean the bathroom as needed
• Assist the Cook when requested
