Job summary

CAPSLO is seeking a Center Supervisor in California to oversee day-to-day operations, supervise instructional staff, ensure curriculum alignment, maintain records, and foster family and community partnerships. Qualifications

• Education requirements per Level II and Level III outlined
• Experience: 2 years teaching experience for Level II; 1 year Center Supervisor experience for Level III
• Permit: Current Child Development Site Supervisor Permit or higher
• Additional requirement: 3 Infant/Toddler college units

Responsibilities

• Ensure program quality adheres to State laws, licensing regulations, and Head Start Performance Standards
• Guide and monitor implementation of Service Plans
• Identify and provide training for Center Instructional Staff
• Plan and conduct monthly Staff Meetings
• Ensure safe and developmentally appropriate center environment
• Monitor screenings and ongoing assessments of children
• Implement Transition Plans for children and families
• Participate in case conferencing and IEP/IFSP plans
• Participate in enrollment and recruitment activities
• Monitor mealtimes for CACFP
• Substitute in classrooms as needed
