Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 12 college credit hours in child development and minimum 6 credit hours in business management.
• Two years of experience in a licensed child-care center; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience meeting Head Start performance standards and federal/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and represent the Agency in the community.
• Monitor classrooms, provide feedback, and conduct observations.
• Oversee HR tasks: staff recruitment, orientation, performance reviews, and time sheets.
• Ensure compliance with USDA, ARD meetings, and safety requirements.
• Recruit and enroll children; manage center operations and family engagement.
