Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with Child Development credits required.
• Alternate credentials in child development accepted with experience.
• Administrator credential or equivalent experience preferred.
• Two years’ experience in a licensed child-care center required.
• Head Start experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong leadership and staff supervision abilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead Center operations and supervise all staff in the Center.
• Ensure compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards.
• Collaborate with program specialists and other managers.
• Oversee human resources tasks and staff development activities.
• Maintain safety, confidentiality, and high-quality learning environments.

Connaissances

Bachelor’s degree in child development

Associate degree in child development

Sixty college credits in child dev

Child development administrator’s cert

Head Start experience preferred

Two years in licensed child-care
