Job summary

MICA is seeking Head Start Assistant Teachers (1, 2, or 3) in Tama, IA to support classrooms, engage families, and promote a positive, safe learning environment aligned with Head Start standards.

Responsibilities include implementing the curriculum with fidelity, fostering development across learning areas, documenting observations, assisting with events, and collaborating with the Lead Teacher. Requires a high school diploma or CDA and related early childhood education pathway.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDA credential or pursuing an associate/bachelor in early childhood education preferred.
• Ability to follow Head Start Performance Standards.

Responsibilities
