Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare palatable meals following the posted menu.
• Ensure meals meet CACFP requirements and are appropriate for children's age and development.
• Ensure ServSafe practices within the kitchen.
• Collaborate with the Food Services Coordinator to schedule meals for timely distribution and quality across sites.
• Place food orders necessary to follow the approved menu for enrolled children and staff.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and center staff for delivery and collection across sites.
• Maintain care and maintenance schedule of food service equipment, including the food service truck, as applicable.
• Assist with nutrition-related classroom activities and food-related projects.
