Job summary

23XI Racing seeks a Head Pit Coach to train pit crew members and teams to NASCAR Cup Series level excellence. You will identify, recruit, and develop top performers, drive strategic objectives to minimize stop times, and lead practice sessions with a focus on teamwork and reliability.

The role requires coordinating film review, schedules, and player development while promoting a culture of safety and accountability across the pit department.

Qualifications

• Two years of college and/or professional sports coaching experience mandatory.
• Availability to travel to as many as 18 NASCAR Cup Series races per race season required.
• Ability to lead and develop pit crews and support staff.
• Familiarity with NASCAR pit stop choreography and rules preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership that reflects the mission statement and core values of 23XI Racing.
• Assemble pit crew teams using performance metrics and team chemistry.
• Identify and recruit potential pit crew members to drive success.
• Set performance goals for individuals and teams.
• Plan and lead practice sessions; tailor sessions to improvement areas.
• Develop and critique individual and team choreographies.
• Promote unity and teamwork while improving performance and reliability.
