HappyRobot in San Francisco is hiring a Head of Workplace Services to own workplace strategy and operations end to end. This senior leader role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution to shape spaces that reflect our culture and pace.

You will partner with People, Finance, IT, and the executive team to deliver spaces that support collaboration, productivity, and excellence across locations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading workplace, facilities, or real estate operations at a high-growth company.
• Proven track record in lease negotiations, vendor relationships, and office build-outs.
• Strong leadership skills with experience building and scaling a team.
• Ability to switch between long-term strategy and hands-on execution.
• Solid project management and vendor management with attention to detail.
• Bias toward action and problem-solving beyond strict scope.

Responsibilities

• Set vision for scalable workplace operations as the company grows.
• Lead real estate strategy including lease negotiations and office openings.
• Manage workplace budgets and optimize spend across real estate and vendors.
• Oversee day-to-day office operations including facilities and safety.
• Build and manage a workplace leadership team across locations.
• Collaborate with People, Finance, IT, and executives on space planning and headcount growth.
• Establish systems, tools, and standards to run offices with precision as the team scales.
