Skild AI is seeking a proactive Workplace Experience Manager to own the San Mateo office operations. This role sits at the intersection of workplace, people operations, and facilities, coordinating with IT, security, recruiting, and vendors to craft a welcoming, high-quality environment.

The ideal candidate will manage front-of-house, onboarding logistics, events, and office services while maintaining safety and operational standards as the company scales.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in workplace experience or similar hands-on office roles.
• Ability to independently run day-to-day office operations with ownership.
• Experience managing vendors, onboarding logistics, events, and office services.

Responsibilities

• Own daily workplace operations for the San Mateo office, keeping it welcoming and functional.
• Serve as front-of-house owner for employees, candidates, guests, vendors, and partners.
• Manage reception, mail, guest coordination, front desk, and office communications.
• Maintain conference rooms, shared spaces, kitchens, and employee amenities.
• Oversee food/beverage, snacks, and recurring workplace inventory.
• Coordinate vendors (janitorial, catering, office supplies, facilities).
• Collaborate with People Ops and Recruiting on onboarding and events.
• Plan onsite events, team activities, and all-hands logistics.
• Develop lightweight workplace processes and vendor documentation.
• Identify and resolve office issues proactively; support safety readiness.
