Job summary

Madewell is seeking a Senior Manager of Print & Pattern Design to lead CAD development for prints, stripes, plaids, and colorways across Women’s apparel and accessories. You’ll translate concepts into production-ready artwork, partner with Design and Sourcing, and help evolve the brand’s print identity.

You’ll mentor CAD designers, manage workflow, and stay current with CAD tools to boost speed and quality of artwork across seasons.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of CAD, print or pattern design in apparel/textiles.
• 2+ years leading or mentoring designers/CAD artists.
• Strong knowledge of stripe, plaid, and graphic construction across knit and woven fabrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead CAD illustration and development of print, stripe, plaid, and graphics for seasonal colorways.
• Oversee accuracy and consistency of repeats from CAD to production handoff.
• Mentor CAD designers and build team capabilities in print and pattern execution.
