Job summary

The University of Washington seeks a Director of Wired Networks to lead the engineering, deployment, and operation of UW’s large-scale wired networks across campuses and partners. You will shape technical strategy, oversee budgets, and manage a diverse team of senior engineers and managers.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of IT management with large enterprise networks.
• Experience managing a large team of senior network engineers.
• Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Strong communication and executive reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Define vision and roadmap for UW wired networks.
• Oversee budgets, service levels, and performance metrics.
• Direct network engineering and deployment lifecycles.
