Job summary

TRILOGY ENGINEERING SERVICES LLC in Houston seeks a Sr. Water/Wastewater Design Engineer to oversee design, drawings, plans and specs, and to lead a team of engineers and designers. You will evaluate processes, mentor staff, and partner with clients to improve outcomes.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, deep water/wastewater design knowledge, and excellent problem-solving abilities, with a valid Texas PE license and a drive for team growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in civil engineering or related field.
• Texas Professional Engineering License required.
• Leadership or management experience desired.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplined delivery team to complete tasks within budgets.
• Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of project management with high technical complexity and profitability focus.
• Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, project leads, and clients.
• Build interpersonal relationships, facilitate conflict resolution, and lead the local team.
• Understand water and wastewater theory and industry practices, standards and applications.
• Design water and wastewater non-infrastructure from feasibility to detailed design, piping diagrams, control philosophies, and calculations.
• Work with clients and project teams across disciplines.
• Provide detailed calculations for water/wastewater processes.
