Job summary

Tower Products Incorporated, located in Saugerties, NY, seeks a Director of Warehouse Operations to lead all fulfilment activities. You will drive efficiency, safety, and cost control while guiding a team of managers and supervisors in a fast-paced environment.

As DWO, you will optimize inventory, picking/packing processes, and KPI tracking, partnering with HR and senior leadership to staff effectively and implement innovative systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop Logistics and Efficiency Plans for Inventory Control, Picking/Packing, heat-mapping, and product bin locations.
• Forward-thinking toward automation, and systems to improve logistics
• Expand KPI’s and performance tracking
• Communicate/manage relationships with freight carriers and shipping material providers to secure lowest costs
• Develop and enforce best practices in health and safety
• Demonstrate literacy in warehouse and computer technologies
• Delegate and oversee team leaders with accountability and trust
• Analyze warehouse data to strategize and forecast for cost and hiring needs
• Make financially responsible business decisions in line with policies
• Work with HR to staff and accomplish productivity and quality goals
