Job summary

The SYGMA Network is seeking a seasoned Warehouse Manager in California to oversee warehouse operations, ensure safety, and optimize product flow.

You will lead the warehouse management team, implement policies, and coordinate with transportation, HR, and administration to maximize efficiency.

Candidates should have extensive experience in distribution, strong leadership, and familiarity with WMS and labor management systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree related to operations systems, business management or related field preferred.
• 10+ years verifiable experience in various management/leadership roles in a distribution related industry or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Working knowledge of warehouse management systems to include inbound, outbound and inventory management processes; familiarity with labor management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety rules to eliminate accidents and injuries.
• Hire, train, develop, evaluate and ensure accountability of warehouse management team and associates.
• Lead and model effective leadership for warehouse operations.
• Coordinate with RDC departments and opcos to optimize product flow and costs.
• Ensure proper receiving, slotting, shipping, accuracy, and product quality.
• Work with Senior Manager to minimize shrink and maximize productivity using WMS.
