The role combines hands-on production with scalable systems in a fast-growing YC-backed company. You will shape formats, direct creators, and build a repeatable production machine while maintaining top-tier storytelling across channels and ensuring brand

Qualifikationen

• Own or run a video studio, production company, or in-house video function with the systems to deliver at scale.
• Directed and produced: brief a DOP, run a shoot, manage an edit, hit a budget.
• Excellent editor in your own right: hands-on early on and set the bar for the bench.
• Sharp story editor at any length: 90 min podcast, 3 min hero film, 30 sec clip.
• Exceptional storyteller across formats: every piece lands on its own terms and builds a coherent brand narrative.
• Orchestrator: comfortable building and running a bench of freelancers, editors, motion designers, and crews.
• Hands-on in a scale-up: ship first, then systematize.

Aufgaben

• Set the slate and direct the hero films: decide what deserves the full treatment and manage from concept to final cut.
• Build repeatable formats: shape podcasts, event clips, and other formats with repeatable structure.
• Run the clipping and repurposing pipeline: create cutdowns and platform-native edits across channels.
• Steward the brand on every screen: enforce look/feel and guide creators on camera to fit the brand.
