Job summary

Everest Insurance Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, Head of Everest Underwriting Partners, to lead the delegated authority platform with a portfolio exceeding $500 million in gross written premium.

You will shape underwriting strategy, governance, and distribution through MGAs, MGUs, and program administrators, while partnering with actuarial, risk, and product teams to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in P&C Insurance in North America.
• 15+ years of experience in delegated authority distribution channel.
• Deep knowledge of core P&C Insurance products including property, casualty, liability and specialty lines.
• Extensive experience managing and driving the P&L for an insurance business.
• Proven ability to develop and manage Sales and Distribution channels to meet market needs.
• Extensive experience engaging with Program Administrators, MGAs and MGUs.
• Ability to develop and execute a multi-line strategy across regions.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with a track record of high performance.
• Understanding of US insurance market across regions to scale solutions.
• Strong analytical and leadership capabilities; collaborative execution.

Responsibilities

• Define underwriting strategy, risk appetite, and growth priorities across all Programs business.
• Ensure governance and discipline across programs and delegated authority arrangements.
• Evaluate and approve new program opportunities with leadership assessments and financial review.
• Collaborate with actuarial, reinsurance, and underwriting leadership on performance and risks.
• Lead decisions on program expansion, remediation, or termination based on performance.
• Sponsor Everest's delegated authority relationships and partnerships with MGAs, MGUs and brokers.
• Negotiate program agreements, binding authorities, and compensation structures.
• Maintain relationships with senior executives across partner organizations.
• Present portfolio strategy and performance to executives and stakeholders.
• Drive data quality, reporting, and portfolio transparency for governance.
