Job summary

Everest Insurance Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, Head of Everest Underwriting Partners to lead the delegated authority platform with a $500M+ premium base. You will drive underwriting strategy, portfolio growth, governance, and partner engagement, while aligning with Everest's wholesale and specialty objectives.

This executive role requires deep P&C expertise, 15+ years of leadership in delegated distribution, and a track record of cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in P&C Insurance in North America.
• 15+ years of experience in delegated authority distribution channel.
• Knowledge of core P&C insurance products (property, casualty, liability, specialty).
• Extensive experience managing and driving P&L for an insurance business.
• Proven ability to lead Sales and Distribution channels in a changing marketplace.
• Experience engaging with Program Administrators, MGAs and MGUs.
• Ability to strategize across multiple lines and disciplines for growth and efficiency.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with cross-region collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic vision for Everest Underwriting Partners and drive profitable growth.
• Define underwriting strategy, risk appetite, and portfolio objectives.
• Lead negotiations and governance for delegated authorities and partnerships.
• Oversee portfolio analytics, performance reporting, and capital return.
• Ensure regulatory and governance compliance across all programs.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing, diverse leadership team.
