Job summary

Everest Insurance Company in New York, NY, seeks a Senior Vice President, Head of Everest Underwriting Partners to lead the delegated authority and program business portfolio. You will shape underwriting strategy, governance, and partner engagement for a $500M+ gross written premium portfolio, driving sustainable growth and superior risk-adjusted returns.

The role requires deep P&C product knowledge, 15+ years in delegated authority distributions, and proven P&L leadership.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in P&C Insurance in North America.
15+ years of experience in delegated authority distribution channel.
Deep knowledge of core P&C Insurance products, including property, casualty, liability and specialty lines.
Extensive experience managing and driving the P&L for an Insurance business.
Experience engaging with Program Administrators, MGAs and MGUs.
Ability to travel up to 50% of time, as needed.

Responsibilities

Establish and execute the strategic vision for Everest Underwriting Partners, aligned with the broader objectives of Everest Insurance and Global Wholesale & Specialty.
Drive profitable growth through disciplined portfolio management, strategic capital deployment, and effective cycle management.
Lead the development and execution of annual and multi-year business plans, including production, retention, profitability, and operational performance objectives.
Identify emerging market opportunities, distribution trends, and partnership opportunities to expand Everest's delegated authority platform.
Serve as a key member of the Wholesale & Specialty leadership team, contributing to enterprise-wide strategic planning and decision making.
