The University of South Florida is seeking a strategic Director of Evaluations within the Office of Admissions. You will lead undergraduate application review and decisioning, ensuring consistency with university policies, Florida regulations, and federal laws.

This role oversees document management, residency determinations, and special talent admissions, coordinating appeals with the Faculty Admissions Committee.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; five years of progressively responsible experience in undergraduate admissions or enrollment management.
• Experience interpreting and applying admissions policies and procedures.
• Supervisory experience managing professional staff.
• Experience with student information systems and/or CRM systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership, direction, supervision, and professional development for the Evaluations team handling undergraduate application review and admissions decisions.
• Ensure consistent application of admissions policies, regulations, and guidelines; monitor timelines and improve efficiency.
• Oversee Special Talent admissions processes (CAA) and coordinate with Athletics Eligibility, ROTC, and arts programs.
• Serve as primary administrative liaison to the Faculty Admissions Committee and coordinate appeals process.
• Oversee receipt, indexing, imaging, verification, and processing of admissions documents; ensure FERPA compliance.
• Lead residency classification and reclassification for Florida tuition purposes and develop related procedures.
• Develop and maintain evaluation procedures, guidelines, and compliance with FERPA and state/federal laws.
• Collaborate with Strategic Enrollment Operations to optimize workflows and technology enhancements.
• Analyze admissions data and support reporting to guide enrollment strategy.
