LIDD is seeking a Director of Transportation Advisory to lead end-to-end delivery of transportation optimization engagements, including network design and carrier strategy. This role combines client delivery, commercial leadership, and practice development to grow a profitable advisory practice.

The successful candidate will guide teams, develop methodologies, and drive analytics-driven decisions for senior client leadership across global supply chains.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, logistics, or management consulting.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
• Proficiency in TMS, ERP, data analytics, and project management tools.
• Strategic thinking, analytical skills, strong communication, negotiation, and leadership.
• Deep expertise in transportation strategy, network design, and logistics economics.
• Proven track record delivering complex, multi-stakeholder consulting projects.
• Experience leading teams and managing P&L or practice-level financials.
• Strong executive communication and client-facing skills

Responsabilités

• Own delivery of Transportation Advisory engagements, including network design, carrier strategy, and cost-to-serve modeling.
• Define and maintain methodology for Transportation & Network strategy and related tools.
• Lead and grow a team of transportation and network consultants and analysts.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders across supply chain, operations, and finance.
• Own the financial performance of the Transportation Advisory area; forecast demand and manage staffing.
• Develop repeatable, scalable offerings and build a bench of capable consultants.
