LIDD Supply Chain Consultants is seeking a Director of Transportation Advisory to lead end-to-end transportation engagements, from network design to carrier strategy, while building and mentoring a high-performance team. You will partner with senior client leaders to deliver rigorous analyses, scalable methodologies, and growth strategies across manufacturing, distribution, and retail sectors.

Qualifications

Experience in supply chain, logistics, or management consulting.
Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, supply chain, logistics, business or related field.
Proficiency in TMS, ERP, data analytics, and project management tools.
Strategic thinking, analytical skills, strong communication, negotiation, and leadership.
Deep expertise in transportation strategy, network design, and logistics economics.

Responsibilities

Own delivery of Transportation & Network Advisory engagements, including design, carrier strategy, and bid management.
Ensure projects are analytically rigorous, financially sound, and operationally realistic.
Provide executive-level storytelling and decision support to client leadership teams.
Define and continuously improve the Transportation & Network Strategy methodology and tooling.
Lead and grow a team of transportation and network consultants and analysts.
Drive adoption of advanced analytics, modelling tools, and dashboards.
Lead proposal development, scoping, and pricing for services.
Track KPIs such as project margin, client satisfaction, and practice growth.
