Job summary

Walmart Global Tech is seeking a seasoned engineering leader to define and execute the strategy for Traffic Foundation platforms. You will guide architecture, delivery, and operations of mission-critical traffic systems powering Walmart’s global digital experiences.

Lead global engineering teams, drive platform modernization, and ensure reliability, security, and performance at scale. This role blends strategic vision with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field required.
• 6+ years of software engineering or related experience preferred.
• Experience leading engineering teams and senior engineers across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Define vision, architecture, and roadmap for Traffic Foundation platforms.
• Partner with leaders to align investments with business priorities and standards.
• Lead and develop engineering managers and senior engineers across global teams.
• Oversee design and operations of highly available distributed systems at enterprise scale.
