Walmart seeks a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead platform-level software and AI/ML execution, aligning with strategic roadmaps. You’ll supervise scalable infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud cost optimization while driving technical excellence and strong stakeholder relationships.

You will mentor engineers, influence architectural decisions, and collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software that supports customers and associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ software engineering experience.
• 7 years’ experience in software engineering.
• 2 years supervisory experience.
• Master’s degree and 3 years’ experience in software engineering.
• Experience creating inclusive digital experiences and accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA).
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices and inclusive design principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform-level execution of software and AI/ML systems with roadmap alignment.
• Oversee shared infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks for scalable development.
• Drive full software development lifecycle with DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud optimization.
