Harvey is building AI-native security at the intersection of enterprise software and critical data. As Director of Detection and Response, you will design and lead the team that detects threats, coordinates rapid incident response, and translates lessons into stronger defenses across our production platform and corporate environment.

You'll partner with CISO, engineering, IT, legal, and trust teams to turn risk into a focused program, scale the function with automation, and maintain 24/7

Qualifications

• Experience leading Detection and Response teams in a tech company with complex production systems.
• Strong incident response and decisive crisis management abilities.
• Deep background in cloud, OS, networking, identity, and attacker tradecraft.
• Engineering mindset with experience building detection platforms or automation.
• Ability to translate business risk into a focused, actionable security strategy.

Responsabilités

• Build and lead the detection and response organization, with clear ownership and learning culture.
• Lead incident response for major security events, including coordination and executive communication.
• Define telemetry, detection pipelines, tooling, and automation across environments.
• Prioritize meaningful threats using threat intel, hunting, and attacker perspectives.
• Drive blameless reviews and measurable improvements to detection and response.
