Harvey, Inc. in New York is seeking an experienced Incident Response Handler to drive and lead incident response for security events.

You will command incidents, coordinate containment, and ensure real fixes are implemented to prevent recurrence. Join a small, highly technical security team early in standing up a Detection & Response function, with latitude to define incident response for years to come.

Competenze

3+ years of experience in Incident Response, Detection & Response, Security Operations, Threat Detection, or related security engineering.
Experience participating in investigations and response efforts for complex security incidents in cloud-native environments.
Deep understanding of attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (MITRE ATT&CK).
Experience with one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Experience building security automation and tooling with Python or Go.

Build strong relationships with key employees across the organization.
Lead investigations across cloud, identity, and AI platforms during security incidents.
Maintain and contribute to an internally developed SOC, tuned to Harvey’s threat landscape.
Work across technical and operational teams to ensure effective remediation and policy enforcement.
Help shape the Detection & Response roadmap with metrics, SLAs, and tabletop exercises.
