Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing test engineering or related field.
• At least 1 year of people leadership or technical leadership experience.
• Experience delivering production test systems from requirements to deployment.
• Strong knowledge of C#, Python, NI TestStand, and LabVIEW.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of four Test Engineers and five Test Technicians.
• Own the manufacturing test strategy and roadmap for new and existing products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for NPI test solutions.
• Provide technical leadership for test hardware and software.
• Define project scope, schedules, risks, and launch readiness.
• Integrate test systems into production processes and ensure safe execution.
• Maintain test-system capacity, availability, and maintenance strategy.
• Use data to improve yield, test coverage, and cycle time.
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Develop annual test engineering budget and capital plan.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and cybersecurity.
• Create performance indicators for test function.
