Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking an experienced TISO leader to direct the program and govern risk and control activities across STS. You will translate technology and cybersecurity requirements into clear business actions and drive cross-functional collaboration with technology and control owners.

You will coach risk professionals, set objectives, manage performance, and deliver executive-ready reporting on risk indicators, gaps, and remediation progress.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology risk management, cybersecurity, audit, or related function.
• Ability to translate risk requirements into actionable business actions.
• Experience advising senior leaders with concise written assessments and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the TISO program and team: define responsibilities, coverage, and service expectations.
• Develop team capability through coaching, objectives, and performance management.
• Advise senior leadership on enterprise programs and risk requirements.
• Define program coverage with owners across STS and ensure clear deliverables.
• Drive execution by coordinating with technology and control owners.
• Deliver executive-ready reporting on risk indicators, gaps, and commitments.
• Monitor corrective actions and maintain governance routines for quality.
