Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a senior- or lead-level professional to oversee the Penetration Testing program within Technology Risk Management. The role coordinates testing activities across applications, APIs, infrastructure, cloud, and AI, partnering with multiple teams to ensure proper planning, execution, and reporting.

Successful candidates will combine strong program management, risk analysis, and excellent communication to surface systemic risks and metrics for leadership review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Technology Risk Management, Information Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance, Program Management, or related disciplines.
• Experience supporting, coordinating, facilitating, or managing complex initiatives, penetration testing programs, or security assurance initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, systemic issues, emerging risks, and control weaknesses.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical and risk information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate penetration testing engagements across applications, APIs, infrastructure, cloud, AI, and emerging tech.
• Partner with technology teams, cybersecurity, risk, and vendors to ensure testing is planned, executed, and reported.
• Develop executive-level risk metrics, dashboards, and reports to inform decision-making.
