Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine R&D Technology seeks a Head of Technology, Systems & Engineering (Sr. Director) to define and operate shared platforms across cross‑R&D, including finance, data, AI, compute, and cloud optimization.

You will lead a large, globally distributed team and set governance that delivers secure, scalable solutions. Reporting to the Head of Technology, you will partner with diverse teams across R&D product lines, Information Security, Finance, and

Qualifications

15+ years of technology leadership in enterprise platforms and product portfolios.
Experience in life sciences, healthcare, or highly regulated environments preferred.
Expertise in cloud, data and AI platforms, software engineering, and cybersecurity integration.
Strong leadership of large, globally distributed teams with governance.
Experience with Agile/product-centric delivery, DevSecOps, FinOps, ALM/TLM, and architecture governance.

Responsibilities

Lead the Cross R&D product portfolio strategy, prioritization, funding, delivery oversight, and stakeholder engagement.
Build and coach a large, globally distributed team of technology leaders, engineers, and operations professionals.
Own operational excellence for Cross R&D platforms, including reliability, security, and cost optimization.
Drive SDLC automation, DevSecOps, cloud optimization, and lifecycle discipline.
Partner with Security, Architecture, Finance, Data Science, and business leadership to realize measurable value.
