Job summary

Cellanome is seeking a hands-on Head of Systems Engineering to own the system architecture, budgets, and verification for the R3200 platform. You will report to the SVP of Product Development and shape the discipline, expand the team, and ensure the platform meets customer needs.

You will define requirements, lead trade studies, drive manufacturing transfer, and partner with executives to shape R&D initiatives and product roadmaps. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Optical).
• 12+ years progressive engineering leadership experience.
• Experience with complex scientific systems design.
• Familiar with design controls and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Create system models, define budgets, and guide architecture decisions.
• Develop system interfaces and verification strategies.
• Lead system-level risk management and FMEA.
• Drive design transfer to manufacturing and cost reduction.
