Job summary

Meitu Inc. in Palo Alto seeks a strategic pioneer to build our Silicon Valley presence from the ground up, reporting to the CFO and collaborating with the CEO on AI product vision and ecosystem roadmap.

You will scout the SV accelerator/incubator scene, engage with founders at our Palo Alto hub, and convert high-level connections into investments or partnerships through frequent interaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Silicon Valley accelerator/incubator operations, early-stage VC deal-sourcing, corporate strategy, or BD for AI/Internet companies.
• Strong eye for visual design, photography, and video trends.

Responsibilities

• Ecosystem scouting in Silicon Valley AI, creator economy, and digital aesthetics circles.
• Ecosystem engagement by using the Palo Alto hub to host events and mixers.
• Resource conversion by nurturing industry connections into strategic investments or partnerships.

About the Company

As Meitu (SEHK: 1357) accelerates its global growth, we have established a brand-new hub on University Avenue in Palo Alto—a physical space where we can engage deeply with creators, builders, and founders.

About the Role

This highly strategic role will report directly to our CFO for capital deployment, M&A strategy, and operational governance, while working closely alongside our CEO to shape our AI product vision and ecosystem roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Ecosystem Scouting: Immerse yourself in Silicon Valley’s AI, creator economy, and digital aesthetics circles. Leverage your network to identify high-potential, high-aesthetic early-stage targets for investment or incubation.
• Ecosystem Engagement: Use our prime Palo Alto office as a micro "Hacker House" for cutting-edge AI startups and creators, organizing community events and founder mixers.
• Resource Conversion: Proactively manage and nurture high-level industry resources and teams referred by the CEO and senior executives. Convert these connections into strategic investments or business partnerships through high-frequency interaction.

Qualifications

• Professional fluency (written and verbal) in Mandarin Chinese and English.
• Must have a valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation for a hybrid model (min. 3 days/week in Palo Alto).

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Silicon Valley accelerator/incubator operations, early-stage VC (Seed to Series A) deal-sourcing, corporate strategy, or BD for AI/Internet companies. You know how the SV ecosystem ticks.
• A deep passion and keen eye for visual design, photography, and video trends.
• Low ego, high flexibility, and deeply entrepreneurial. You are equally comfortable writing executive-ready investment memos, pitching to founders, and managing the physical logistics of a workspace. You love creating order out of chaos.

Preferred Skills

• Experience as a digital creator or community lead in the aesthetics space is a major plus.
