Job summary

New Relic seeks a Director of Strategic Sourcing, Procurement and Travel to lead the enterprise-wide Vendor Management Office, driving RFx initiatives, complex negotiations and supplier performance across the business.

You will partner with Legal, Security, Finance and Technology to align goals, build high-performing global teams, and deliver cost and value improvements. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master’s Degree in business, information systems, or related field.
• 10+ years in strategic sourcing management.
• 5+ years leading a team.
• 10+ years negotiating software/hardware licenses, SaaS, and professional services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage vendor relationships and key stakeholders across spend categories.
• Sponsor and lead high-complexity RFx initiatives.
• Lead complex commercial negotiations across software, SaaS, cloud, hardware, and services.
• Own supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee Travel and Expense function globally.
• Define sourcing strategies, policies, and governance.
• Collaborate with Legal, Security, Finance, and Technology leaders.
