Job summary

Oracle is seeking an accomplished storage hardware leader to build and direct a new engineering organization for OCI Storage. The role focuses on defining the long-term hardware strategy, selecting media, and coordinating with software and silicon teams to deliver scalable storage platforms.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in engineering leadership, deep storage hardware expertise, and a track record of delivering large-scale hardware platforms. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Deep expertise in storage hardware platforms and architectures.
• Experience spanning hardware, firmware, and low-level platform software.
• Proven ability to build and scale engineering organizations in hyperscale environments.

Responsibilities

• Define OCI's storage hardware strategy and multi-year roadmaps.
• Build and lead a new engineering organization for storage hardware.
• Own hardware platform engineering across media, controllers, PCIe, and QoS.
• Drive supplier relationships with leading storage technology vendors.
• Lead storage media reliability, qualification, and validation.
• Partner with executive leadership to align technology roadmaps.
