Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior Director to define and execute the Storage Hardware Strategy. You will build and lead a new organization responsible for storage media, platform hardware, and low‑level software, partnering with software, silicon, and supply chain teams.

The role requires deep storage hardware expertise, executive leadership experience, and a track record of delivering scalable hardware platforms for hyperscale infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Experience building and scaling large engineering organizations.
• Deep expertise in storage hardware platforms and low-level software.
• Strong ability to manage executive relationships with storage vendors.

Responsabilités

• Define OCI's Storage Hardware Strategy with multi-year roadmaps and technology evaluation.
• Build and lead a new engineering organization for storage hardware.
• Own hardware platform engineering across OCI deployments.
• Drive low-level platform software collaboration with hardware and silicon teams.
• Lead strategic supplier relationships and executive vendor engagement.
• Oversee Storage Media Reliability and qualification programs.
