Job summary

Synthesia is seeking a Solutions Engineering Manager in NYC to lead and scale our presales team. You will own hiring, ramp, and development of 5-10 Solutions Engineers, shaping discovery, demos, PoCs, and executive storytelling to drive revenue.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Product Marketing to align strategy, forecast, and win rates while building a high-performing, inclusive culture in a hybrid NYC office.

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting, managing and developing Solution Engineering presales teams.
• Own the full employee life cycle from hiring through onboarding and promotions for teams you inherited or built from scratch.
• Progress from IC to leadership by solving complex problems with product partners and deep domain expertise.

Responsibilities

• Hire, ramp, and develop a team of 5-10 Solutions Engineers in NYC.
• Run regular 1:1s, deal reviews, and career development conversations to ensure high-quality discovery, demos, and evaluations.
• Build a collaborative, inclusive team culture that supports deals across the team.
• Execute presales motions: research, discovery, demos, workshops, PoCs, and handover to customer success.
• Design and evolve demo methodology across Studio, Roleplay Sessions, and Interactive Avatars.
• Build and maintain the presales toolkit with product/ops for demos, assets, and guides.
• Own forecasting and pipeline hygiene for presales, report on performance and PoCs.
