Job summary

The Baldwin Group is seeking a Director of Solutions Architecture to lead a team of architects and collaborators across product, engineering, security, data, and infrastructure. The role translates business priorities into scalable, secure technology solutions and sets architecture standards across applications, integrations, and cloud platforms.

You will guide solution design, drive modernization efforts, and ensure alignment with enterprise strategy while managing governance, risk, and cost

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of experience in solutions architecture, software engineering, tech strategy, or related roles.
• 5+ years leading architects, managers, or technical teams.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale modernization, cloud transformation, and integration initiatives.
• Certifications such as AWS/Azure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the solution architecture roadmap, standards, and operating model for assigned domains.
• Lead architecture review processes and governance forums to identify risks and improve solution quality.
• Translate business strategies into scalable architectures and roadmaps for applications, integrations, and cloud.
• Champion best practices in cloud, security, observability, and cost optimization.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Security, and Data leaders to align solutions with strategic initiatives.
• Oversee department budget and resource allocation to meet objectives.
