Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a senior engineering leader to own the Health100 platform strategy, driving multi-team roadmaps across backend, mobile/web, and AI agent capabilities. You will align engineering investments with health-tech outcomes and partner with executives to translate strategy into actionable programs.

You will mentor managers and engineers, champion AI-driven features, and scale an organization across on-site teams in Rhode Island.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years leading managers and senior engineers.
• Delivery of large-scale, multi-team programs across backend platforms, native mobile and cross-platform apps, and AI features.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures, including microservices, DevOps, and cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• Executive-level communication and influence skills, with hands-on AI-enabled or generative AI experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive multi-team product and technical roadmaps spanning cross-platform app development, platform APIs, and AI agent capabilities.
• Set architectural direction on multi-agent orchestration, data integration, and MCP-based protocols.
• Align engineering investments across backend, mobile/web, and AI/ML disciplines with business outcomes.
• Establish scalable engineering standards and operational frameworks for full-stack app and AI agent systems.
• Lead, mentor, and grow engineering managers and senior engineers across backend, cross-platform, and AI disciplines.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, Security, and executive leaders to translate strategy into executable programs with milestones.
• Manage vendor and contingent workforce strategies while guiding AI/agent research and platform investments.
