Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Executive Director of Software Engineering – AI Solutions to lead design, development, and delivery of AI-powered software for Health100 strategy. You will translate business needs into production-grade AI-enabled platforms and partner across Product, Security, and Business teams.

The role requires deep software leadership, experience with Generative AI, and the ability to scale engineering organizations.

Qualifications

15+ years of software development and technology leadership experience.
10+ years leading large-scale engineering organizations.
5+ years delivering AI, ML, or Generative AI solutions within enterprise software environments.
Experience building cloud-native platforms and distributed systems at scale.
Deep expertise in software architecture, modern engineering practices, APIs, microservices, DevSecOps, and cloud technologies.
Proven track record of leading organizations with 50+ engineers across multiple teams.
Experience delivering large-scale customer-facing and enterprise software solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead software engineering teams responsible for AI-powered applications and platforms.
Set engineering best practices, architecture governance, and operational excellence.
Drive secure, scalable, resilient software solutions across Health100.
