Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a hands‑on engineering leader to own the platform roadmap for Health100, spanning backend, mobile/web, and AI‑driven consumer experiences. You will shape architecture, drive multi‑team delivery, and partner with stakeholders to translate strategy into scalable systems with strong governance.

You will mentor managers, oversee hiring, and champion AI‑enabled solutions, ensuring safety, quality, and measurable outcomes across cross‑functional teams in a healthcare technology

Qualifications

• 12+ years software engineering experience
• 5+ years leading managers and senior engineers
• Delivery of large-scale, multi-team programs spanning backend platforms, native mobile and cross-platform apps, and AI features
• Strong depth in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
• Executive-level communication and AI-enabled software experience

Responsibilities

• Define and drive multi-team product and technical roadmaps across cross-platform app development, platform APIs, and AI agent capabilities
• Set architectural direction on multi-agent orchestration, data integration, and LM infrastructure
• Align engineering investment across backend, mobile/web, and AI/ML with business outcomes
• Establish scalable engineering standards and operational frameworks
• Drive observability and evaluation practices for traditional systems and AI agents
• Lead and mentor engineering managers and senior engineers
• Partner with Product, Security, Design and executives to translate strategy into executable programs
• Manage vendor and contingent workforce strategies and pursue AI/agent innovation
