Job summary

China Peak Mountain Resort seeks a Ski & Board School Director to oversee all aspects of the ski and board school, including curriculum development and staff training per PSIA guidelines. You will manage the Ski School Office, schedule group and private lessons, and ensure effective communications with staff and administration.

The role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational and guest-relations skills, and the ability to delegate while guiding a team of supervisors and staff,

Qualifications

• PSIA Level II or III certification or examiner qualification preferred.
• One to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage ski school operations across all departments.
• Develop and implement curriculum and staff training per PSIA guidelines.
• Oversee Ski School Office operations including scheduling of group and private lessons.
• Maintain pre and post season communications with staff and administration.
• Perform duties of subordinates when needed; supervise staff and conduct weekly safety meetings.
