Job summary

American Cruise Lines, the largest USA-flagged cruise line, seeks an Excursions Director to lead shore excursions, explore ports, and engage guests across itineraries. You will coordinate vendors, manage inventory and bid farewell to guests with professional briefings on every voyage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism, or event management preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Strong public speaking, time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Arrange, confirm and adjust shore excursions and transfers.
• Be well-versed in cruising region, ports and excursions offered.
• Accompany guests on daily excursions as brand ambassador.
• Coordinate logistics with vendors to ensure timely service.
• Accommodate guest requests including personalized arrangements.
• Present detailed excursion briefings at cruise start.
• Communicate excursion changes confidently to guests.
• Promote on board sales and loyalty programs.
