Job summary

National Debt Relief seeks a Director of Security Operations to lead detection and response across the enterprise. You will own incident response, EDR, email security, and SIEM, setting strategy, staffing, budget, and metrics while hands-on guiding analysts and acting as incident commander.

You will drive multi-year roadmaps, build detections aligned to MITRE ATT&CK, and report to executives. Strong leadership, communications, and cloud security experience are required.

Qualifications

• 10 years information security experience, 5+ in security operations or detection engineering
• 5+ years direct people leadership, including hiring and on call ownership
• Experience owning function budget, vendor relations, staffing plan
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• Certs such as GCIH/GCIA/GCFA/CISSP/CISM encouraged

Responsibilities

• Own detection and response strategy and multi-year roadmap
• Lead and develop security operations team
• Serve as incident commander and hands-on analyst
• Oversee IR program end-to-end and escalation paths
• Own EDR, email security, and SIEM/detection engineering
• Build automation and runbooks to shorten response time
• Report metrics and coordinate with IT, legal, and execs
