Job summary

Summit Public Schools in Daly City, CA seeks a Dean of Operations to lead non-instructional site operations for middle and high schools. You will supervise attendance, recruitment, health and safety, facilities, meals, records, testing, and transportation while guiding compliance projects and an operations team.

The role emphasizes data-driven, people-focused leadership and collaboration with faculty, families, staff, and students to advance Summit's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Commitment to Summit values and equitable education.
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Operations and/or prior school experience preferred.
• Experience in project and people management preferred.
• Data or analysis experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Google platforms (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Slides).
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Clear health and background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Attendance systems and reports across two sites.
• Lead Recruitment and Enrollment processes and lotteries.
• Ensure Health and Safety compliance and emergency planning.
• Manage Technology and Facilities coordination and repairs.
• Oversee Meals program and nutrition compliance.
• Supervise Records and Testing administration and data handling.
• Support Scheduling of master timetables and student schedules.
• Coordinate Transportation operations and field trips.
• Serve on the school admin team and lead operations staff.
